To all members of the RDP-PAT community,

In the spirit of fostering greater transparency with the neighborhood regarding the activities of our Montreal plant, Sanimax would like to inform you of an update on its operations and the impact of this weekend’s expected summer heat on them.

Weekend of July 13-14

A mechanical breakdown has caused a production slowdown. As a result, we will have to extend our operations into Saturday night. Our teams are monitoring the situation continuously throughout the weekend. Our operations will return to normal on Monday afternoon.

This breakdown, combined with the heat forecast for this weekend, may cause some inconvenience depending on wind direction during this period. Rest assured that we are in constant communication with the city of Montreal.

We will keep you informed of any changes that may occur.

Why does heat make operations more complex ?

Rising temperatures can accelerate the degradation of the materials we process, during transport and right up to their treatment in the plant. This forces us to adjust our equipment to continue operating efficiently. We understand that this can cause inconvenience to our neighbors, and we want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to minimize the impact.

HOW TO REACH US

We invite you to report directly to us any inconvenience or unusual situations you observe that may arise from our activities. This will enable us to verify the source and take prompt action to correct the situation, if necessary.

We’re here to listen, and we’re committed to responding with care and diligence.
