RDP-PAT Community and Sanimax

Towards a more respectful relationship

Day before Québec National Day

Comité des citoyens de Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles et de Sanimax

Dear community members,

As mentioned in our previous publication, the Sanimax team is following up on the state of operations at the Montreal plant on the eve of Quebec’s National Day.

Following the start-up last Monday, we can confirm the quick and efficient processing of the organic matter received this week. As planned, our activities will be slowed down tomorrow, and we expect to close the plant during the day.

A restart of our activities is still planned for late Friday with a closure of the plant Saturday during the day. Please note that we will provide a recap of the entire week’s operations on Friday.

We invite you to visit our Web page, to join our Facebook group and to subscribe to our newsletters to get the most up-to-date information on our operations.

We wish you a happy Quebec National Day!

About

We understand how our business impacts the people and communities around us – that’s why facilitating an open dialogue is one of our top priorities.

To honour this commitment, we have created a citizens committee comprised of representatives from different sectors (municipal, political, environmental) and three residents of Rivière-des-Prairies—Pointe-aux-Trembles. Our goal is to establish and maintain a more harmonious relationship with the surrounding community.
