Hello,
As promised, all our teams have been working non-stop, sparing no effort to improve the factory site and quickly have a positive impact on your daily life. The first benefits have already been seen this summer.
For the past six (6) months, thanks to the signing of the tripartite agreement between the Quebec government, the City of Montreal and Sanimax, concrete solutions to known issues have been proposed to enable us to carry out major work to improve cohabitation with you, the neighborhood residents, and to maintain an essential service.
Let’s not forget that rendering is one of Quebec’s essential services, and the continued operation of this plant is vital to ensuring a steady supply of Quebec pork and chicken on grocery shelves.y. Producers, processors and renderers, we are all links in the same chain that feeds Quebecers. The smooth running of our plant has a direct impact from farm to fork.
I invite you to look at the progress of the work. Whether transitional or long-term in nature, they are all being carried out within ambitious timeframes. You’ll see that Sanimax is keeping its word and making every effort to improve the plant site and promote harmonious cohabitation..
It’s important to keep the lines of communication open. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have or to report any incidents.
