We are leaders in the circular economy
Our operations are a perfect example of the circular economy, making the agri-food industry greener and more sustainable. How? By recovering by-products from this industry for over 85 years and transforming them into high-quality ingredients (such as fats, oils, and proteins) used in the manufacture of everyday items, renewable fuel, and animal feed.
Every year, Sanimax recovers and repurposes over 2 million tons of these by-products, equivalent to 35% of the waste generated by all of Quebec!
Three concrete actions for the neighborhood
1. From May to August, our sustainability officer walks the streets of the neighbourhoods.

3. Continuous, we maintain strict, daily management of our truck fleet.
