To follow up on last week’s notice, here’s some additional information on the ongoing demolition of the old Mount Royal Steel building. Work resumes early next week at our Rivière-des-Prairies plant.
This work is part of the tripartite agreement signed last March between the City of Montreal, the Quebec government and Sanimax. They are part of the development projects presented and discussed at the public consultation held on April 22.
Here’s the rundown for Phase 2:
- Phase 2: Monday, August 19 to Friday, August 30, 2024
- Demolition of a building and backfilling of the site
- Sanimax trucks may have to enter the site from boulevard Maurice-Duplessis. If so, this will be a temporary measure.
